Learning the 12 3/4 from Ebay, etc.

>I noticed the $600 price an hour or so before the auction ends. I choked a little. I knew there was a 12, 12 1/2 and even 12 1/4, but hadn't known about the 12 3/4.
I took a little time and read the Q&A from buyers to the seller. I have to admit they come off as peculiar. But the one from Guido has a link to the Blood & Guts text on the 12 3/4.
All pretty enlightening and entertaining. I wouldn't mind hearing something about this issue of authentic versus counterfit 12 3/4 scrapers from any of you who know enough about these to put down this amount of money. Just curious.
