>To post on WC from your computer:
(1) Make sure the image you want to post is 40KB or less.
(2) Open the WC posting window and type your message, prieview and edit it if necessary.
(3) Scroll down to "Optional Graphic Upload" and click on "Browse."
(4) A window will open displaying files and folders on your computer.
If you're lucky, it will open your "My Pictures" folder. If not you'll have to scroll around using the arrows at the top of the window to find the "My Pictures" folder. When you're there, select the photo you want to post and double click it. The window should close and the address of your image sould appear in the "Optional Graphic Upload" box.
(5) Click on "Post Message." That's it.
A couple of tips:
(1) you can only post one image at a time this way. If you want to post multiple images, you have to do it one at a time in separate posts.
(2) The picture will disappear (i.e., be deleted from the "Optional Graphic Upload" box) if you prieview and edit the post AFTER the image address is uploaded to the box. If you find you need to edit your meassage after you've uploaded the image, be sure to click "Prieview Post" after you've completed the edit. Then check to see if the image address still appears in the "Optional Graphic Upload" box. If it's not there, go through the Browse/Select Image routine again, and then "Post Message" immediately after you uplaod the image.
(3) You probably already know this, but I find it easier to find pictures when "My Pictures" is in thumbnail mode rather than "List" mode. If your images are displaying as a list of titles, you can change to thumbnails by right clicking in a blank space in the list window and selecting "View" from the menu that appears. In "View" you have several choices, including "List" and "Thumbnail." Click on "Thumbnail" and all of your images will appear in minature with the image name underneath each one.
