BC tools seem to be predominately brass with a little rosewood put in as an accent. They look great, but somehow they seem to grate against my concept of "function is beauty".

I don't own any but am certainly guilty of drooling through their catalog.

>I had one of there hats...wasn't to happy with the quality. Have heard lots of bad stuff about there squares...people returning out of square ones only to get ones that were even worse. I am always amazed that they sell much but I think they market thier stuff to people that don't know much about tools and equate "Shiny" and "Big" prices with quality. Don't know but think they used to have special presentation type tools that you had to be member to get or some such thing...Have heard them refered to befor as the "Franklin Mint" of tool makers and that probably sums them up pretty well I thought

I stopped wearing my hat because I found it made other tool sellers try to take advantage of me and raise thier prices figuring they had me pegged as an overpaying slow head......Todd
