>Hi Folks,

I am looking for a Stanley transitional lever cap for 2-5/8" width lost nickeling or rust is not an issue as long as it's not cracked, the cam part is intact and in good working order.

Thanks,

Chico...

>I believe the transition lever caps are longer and one from an iron plane may not work for you.I know there`s about a 1/8 difference between the cap on my #35 and my #4.I can dig out my other transitionals and check if you want.

>Hi Chico, Quite often there are transitionals that are in rough shape and get no bids on the bay. I would keep my eye posted for a Stanley 32 or 37 on the bay for $5 that no one bids on. Then when you win, just ask the seller to send the part you want and save the shipping.
