I did a search on the guy that won the bronze #9. Very ecclectic bunch of stuff he bids on. Lots of LN planes, tons of stuff about Costa Rica, about 200 swiss army knives, some hammers, some screwdrivers and a bunch of Tommy Bahama clothes.

When drooling over another stone there are some names that make me cringe when I see them as high-bidder, as I know that more than likely they will ultimately get it.
I once e-mailed a guy who had out-bid me several times on stones and we became good internet pals. We made an agreement not to bid against each other if we stumble upon an item that the other is bidding on and is current high bidder. This agreement has worked both for me and against me several times.
