I could not resist!

Bjenk Ellefsen

>I am deeply sorry but I just had to do it!

Woodcentral, meet Tom Ellefsen :

You can count this as my first gloat.

Soon I will post pictures of my attempt at the Seaton`s chest. I built it only with hand tools. I could not find the book so I just went with Chris`s plans. (Dean and Adam, thanks a lot. I learned more from you than what my personnal library could provide).

TRULY gloatworthy!

Bill Houghton, Sebastopol, CA

>You may find your woodworking languishing for a bit, as you spend your time playing with him, but the time's not far away when you can start teaching him how to use a saw, hammer (boy do they love hammers!), and so on. Eventually, he can become a GIT (Galoot in training).

>Bjenk, Congratulations! Nice haul!

A Seaton's chest? That sounds pretty nice! I think my first project after my boys were born was a diaper changing station!

I did manage to make the panneled door for it using a wood plow plane. ;-)

Re: Gloatworthy

>Whoa! That's a beaut! Contrary to what people say, they don't all come out looking as pretty as that, at that age. Beautiful, peaceful, and intelligent looking, hard to beat. Congratulations! (Certainly puts the average Stanley # 4 picture in perspective.)

Speaking of which I've got one coming in a few weeks, God willing, that will be an order of magnitude nicer, but you couldn't have known that when you submited this efort.
