>Good morning,

I'll be on my annual pilgrimage to NYC and was wondering if there are any good WW stores, antique shops I should stop by in mid-town to Javitz Center.

Thanks in advance.

joel -( tools for working wood)

>You can come visit us.

You can visit the Metropoitan which has one of the finest furniture collections in the country.

And if you wander up Madison Avenue you will see some of the more expensive but not necessarily the best antique stores in the country.

Also visit the Old Merchant's House (original 1850 furniture)

there's lots of other stuff to do also

>I second Joel's suggestion. The Met has the Goddard-Townsend Newport high chests and desks, for an unforgettable experience. I'm doing that and going to Joel's store when I make my March/April pilgrimmage.

>I third the suggestions - just remember to get directions before you visit Joel - he is off the beaten path - though worth the trip . Remember to bring money and leave room in your suitcase for tools. Barry
