After the auction I always email the buyer saying...Very Important please include with payment what it is for and the items ebay number....recently I have taken to doing this all in caps with exclamation points and an extra Very Important at the end and I still get two checks this week with out even a hint of what they were for! I have even gotten payment befor with a letter telling how the buyers grandfather who died many years ago had one just like it. etc.etc. and of course no mention of what "it" was. Don't know maybe I was supposed to use my psychic power and channel grandpop, eh?

I used to go back and check the many things I sell and try to match up what is what but since some people win mulitple auctions and of course don't use thier real names on ebay it makes it very hard to know what the mystery payment is and not send out the wrong item and very time consuming. Really how much trouble is it for the buyer to just take 2 seconds write what the payment is for...even a hint would help. Now I just send a post card out asking the sender what the payment is for....more trouble for me and of course slows down things a good bit for the buyer...

I know lots of people don't think much but you still have to wonder somtimes....Todd
