ps. DIN is more general than just the drug industry. In Germany the acronymn stands for something like "Deutch Industry Normals". I work with a number of DIN standards, some of which take pedantic points to ridiculous lengths...very German.

DIN is only applicable to CDN marketed products. NDC is for US products. Don't get me started on INDs, CTAs, GMPs or NCRs....
