>I did the fluorescent blub and small can trick to get the raking lighting effect over my bench, as described in Adam's A&M PWW article. The effect is better then awesome. The light is warm and I can see better. I had numerous shop light fixtures with two long fluorescent blubs and didn't realize how much glare they were giving off. Now the light is less but I can see better. I am going to get the diffuser material this week and I think that will improve the light even more.

Adam: I think you mentioned before that the diffuser material can touch the bulb without burning??? I hope so because I could not find cans that contained the entire blub.
