>Can we discuss scrapers tonight? I'm teaching a class on this rather broad subject Thursday evening, and I'd like to make sure I cover all the bases. In particular, what jigs or fixtures do you use, and find effective, for preparing the edge for burnishing? I mostly do it freehand, or with either the stone or the card scraper clamped in my face vise, but I know people, especially beginners, can be fond of jigs.
