>I have found an old Sheffield/Pilkington (marked) beech and brass hand brace. I have searched different sights, and found quite a large difference in Value. Is there anyone here that know much about them or their value?

>As in most collector grade tools it is very dependent on condition. Without a photo it is impossible to give an estimate. Interesting side note is that even though these Pilkington braces were made in England they are very rarely found there. The overwhelming majority have been found in the US. Apparently they were made for export to the US.
