Lynn and I have had our spats in the past, but that's water under the bridge as far as I'm concerened. I truly hope all is well with him (you).

He is quite possibly the most talented craftsman I've ever met; not just in metal, but wood as well.

He has done some really high profile floor restoration and renovation. When you see a floor that has been hand planed with a 4-1/2, or scraped with #112 clone you gain a level of respect for the craftsman willing to put his body through the abuse necessary to produce the level of perfection he obtains. The next time you're rubbing your sore shoulders after planing a dining table top think about doing 600+ square feet with a smooth plane while resting on your knees.

The above is just an observation for those of you who didn't get to know Stephen in the Badger Pond days - an interesting, opionated, well read, well written and, perhaps, most important talented gentleman: I'll be forever grateful for the many things I learned from him.

But I do marvel at his Infill planes. The Loopie plane takes plane building to a whole new level and an adjustable mouth to boot.
