>A lot of you have showed insterest in this. I just received my 60-1/2R back from LN where it was nickered. The cost was $25.00, that included the shipping back to me. They were so nice they even wrapped it in a new sheet of the rust saving paper and stamped the orignal box "nickered"!

I was very pleased with the results. If your looking to have this upgrade all you have to do is call them and let them know then, ship your plane back to them. They like you to use UPS.

Now I have some nickers to sharpen...

>Is to do small raised panels and clean up larger ones that were "hogged out" this a No. 10 or other plane. Also it will now plane crossgrain for most woods. That's just two off the top of my head.

Oh yea, It's was cheaper than replacing my Stanley 140 with a right handed nickered LN 140 too.
