Certainly appreciating quicker than the white bronze LN's made to be collectible. I recently bought a white bronze LN102, just because I wanted get a sense of the weight, luster and usability of the alloy. The previous owner had bought it in '98 before they were later marketed by FTJ as limited editions pair sets. The plane was new and looked like it had never touched a piece of wood. Unfortunately for the previous owner, on e-bay it sold for less than it did in '98. Ouch! First thing I did was polish it up and put it to use. With white bronze (nickel silver) depreciating like real silver has been, one might think it had some in it ;^)
