Hardware for workbench *LINK*

>I am finishing up the base for my workbench, finally. The legs are douglas fir 4 x 4's. The strechers are douglas fir 4 x 6's that are planed down to just over 3 inches.
My question is, Can I use Rockler's Cross dowel's for the mortise and tenons, or do I need to go with the bigger bed bolts or even Lee Valley bench boltsThanks.
