>You guys posted some great advice on how to make a sheet metal brake. Are there any suggestions for an easy way to make a sheet metal shear? Or is that beyond the scope of "build it yourself?"

>I doubt you could make one for home use. Even foot powered shears weigh a 1000lbs and have hardened cutting surfaces. They certainly go cheaply at metal working auctions due to their lack of portability.
