Somehow I ended up with it, and I've never quite figured out what you're supposed to do with the dang thing.

>It's for installing wooden lap siding. I don't know exactly how it works though. Keeps the lap measurment correct I suppose. Someone will chime in with a better description I'm sure. There's a nother odd shaped tool by Stanley to mark the length of the clapboards as well.
