>For the convex parts I use a fine single cut file, using the draw filing technique. For the concave areas, I use a fine cut needle file with a half round profile. These are double cut and while it doesn�t work as well for draw filing, it does okay. To be honest, I can�t ever remember a time I had a need for the concaved portion of the of the scraper. I polish the face with a super fine diamond hone. I use the shank of a broken 1/8� solid carbide end-mill to turn the burr. I set the end mill in a 1" dowel for a handle.
