Did you manage to post the pic yourself or did Julie have to help you out?

I'm sure soon that you'll have canived you're way into a higher tech camera, but wouldn't you say that using this little $4(sic) Jam-Cam first was a real boost in confidence, as well as an educational instrument?

I need to get off my lazy arse and fiddle with mine, and I will..........right after I plow the back 40, split 20 cord of apple wood, and move the manure pile 20 feet to the left.

Really not hard work, but the harness does tend to dig into my shoulders abit, I'm a masture shi, er, er, manure shollever, and splitting apple wood is what I do when I want to relax. ;~)

Hey, NICE drill! You gotta get that thing upon the wall soon. And speaking of return mechanisms, I should take my post drill apart and try to fix the return on it. Such a pain to wind it back up with the top gear.

I suppose you're going to start collecting a full set of Silver & Demmings bits to match your drill now eh?

Julie has discussed getting a decent camera for a while but funding has been a little low for us. She's taking me fly fishing for our anniversary this year (10years) and hopefully I'll be working and making enough money to get her the camera she wants.

>I know it would be proper for me to collect the proper bits but I went to the trouble of mounting a keyless chuck just so I wouldn't have to (scavenged the chuck from a dead cordless drill). Good thing is I didn't have to modify the post drill to accet the new chuck so I can go back to it's original state if I want to.

The return mech is (I think) similar to yours... Spin the wheel at the top to retract. Problem is, that screw does not engage the drill shaft (missing the split washer). Right now I have to back off the handscrew and push up on the drill shaft. That's a real pain when you forget about the sharp bit and pierce your hand. :)
