This junk has got to go!

>Well we all do it at some point or another and I just did it and it was a pain. Thats right I moved. The worst part of course is the move and all that stuff I have been collecting for the last 40 years or so. Well I made a decision to off load a lot of things and have begun the process. Skis, boats, clothing, tupperware(it breeds you know!). Of course now I write here because I am going to sell a bunch of tools and thought you should know. I don't have the space I had previously and can't seem to enjoy tools stacked in boxes in a corner.

I will post a list on the classifieds of things that I am going to sell and all the pertinent information. A little bit of everything, planes, saws, chisels, squares, etc. Check it out or just e-mail me with any questions.

At first I was kind of bummed about it but then after getting rid of some things and not missing them I decided it was a good thing. I am not getting rid of any of my working tools and in fact will still have several of each of the things I need. And there are always a few of those things I'll never get rid of. And it allows me to add some new things now and then.

Good for you Dave. I have a couple of things I am gonna have to move some time this year like a Spier's, 604.5 and a 607.

I still haven't convinced myself they are redundant yet but haven't used them in a long time.

Good Luck with it

Cheers
