Pld Woodworking Magazines

Jim O'Neal

>Dumb question - I have saved old woodworking magazines, in some cases up to 12 years(Fine Woodowrking, American Woodworker, Woodsmith, Shop Notes, etc.). I'm finally going to get rid of them. Are they worth any thing?

There was a time when Fine Woodworking issues would go for $5 or so individually - not sure if that's still the case.

I think that was before Taunton reprinted almost every article in one or more of their books!

If nothing else

>Jim,

If nothing else consider donating them to a school or other type organization that might be able to distribute them to some young folks that would benefit from the knowledge that they contain. Might be old info to you, but new to others.

Sure beats putting them into a landfill.
