O/T German Translation

The is the runt of 5 kittens. Light gray, with white face and white paws. Didn't think it would survive, but I took extra pains to help it along. I'd give it seperate feedings from momma, and it pulled thru. :~)

Thought the breeding season was over, so I didn't hurry up and get the second cat nutered, and yup, she gets "with children"--5 to be exact, 2 boys and (twin orange ones with swirly stripes) 3 girls-- 1 gray tiger, 1 with dark and light swirly stripes, and the littelest one.
Wife says I can keep two of the babies, so I'm only gonna be in trouble for 3 cats.
The 5 babies get the chop-chop in April and the mother is going in a few weeks. She's still nursing abit, and I don't think she'll get "with child" before Febuary.
I like cats, and I'm not breaking up this family. They play so well together and I think that they really love each other. Just the other day I saw the littlest one grooming one of the orange ones.
Right now I'm paying out the nose for kitty litter and 9 lives, but I really don't care. when the kittens get older they'll all go on dry food which is cheaper, and will "do their business" outside.
Thanks all for the Translasions so far, I'm working on pronouncing them now.

Plus, this is a great name for your cat to learn and it's short. You should always use names with hard consonents for pets to get their attention.

No idea how to spell it, so I spelled it like it sounded.
Not sure if it is a good name or not.

I believe Bi�chen actually translates to "little bit," and wenig is usually "few" or maybe "less." Kitten would be das K�tzchen, but you wouldn't need the "das" part because it's the equivalent of "the." If you'd like to consider a German dialect, you could consider the Swabisch addition of "le" to almost anything. So a small cat would be "Katzle," (kawts-le with a short e like in "let")
With 8 or 9 cats, if you're looking for a descriptor for yourself, how about "ver�ckt?"

Little sister is o.k., but I am shooting more towards littlest, as in smallest.
This kitten is so cute that if somebody needed a model top make a fine china statuette of a tiny kitten this one would be perfect, so I want a name that fits her well. I also liked "la petit", but I think the Japanese wording is more sing-songish and will fit her well.

>Just trying to help out here. "Die" is the german equivalent of "the", and "Kleinste" is smallest, or littleist. "Die" is feminine, "Der" is masculine, and "das" is nuetral. If you sound it out phonetically, it is stated "dee cline-stuh". Hope this helps.

As I recall from my USMC days in Japan, isn't the Japanese word for "Little One" Chisai (Chee Sigh)?
