The scraper looks like ... a scraper. I *think* the user has substituted in the leather blade, possible for some kind kind of polishing.
The other tool may be a wallpaper trimmer. Wallpaper used to sold with the pattern NOT going all the way to the edge (printing to the edge is hard).
