>Howdy,

A friend of mine showed me a set of what looks like "dowel Centers". But this isn't your usual set of dowel centers. They are in a metal box which says "Blind Hole Spotters" on the lid. When you open the box, there are about 25 or 30 different sized centers, all in their own glass tubes. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with these and had a ballpark value to put on them.

Thanks, Mike G. in SC

Do a Google search on 'blind hole spotter' and you will get links to Internet offerings. They appear to be used in the metalworking trade.

>Ed, thanks. I guess I won't be talking my buddy out of those. They are the Spellmaco set # 18. Rather expensive set of dowel centers.
