Old Woodwright episode on Japan ww
chichi
>Several years ago, there was an episode on the Woodwright in which Roy has a Japanese woodworker demonstrate making , I believe, some of the screens common in Japan. Although I turned on the program while it was in progress and missed a lot, I remember being impressed how simply and quickly the demonstrator worked. He worked on the ground , not at the bench. I recall he would use a squared off piece of stock and hold it against the piece to mark and cut. So simple and quick. Does anyone else recall the episode and can they comment in more detail. There may be something in his demonstration we can all put to practice.
Thanks,
Bob
