>I got a 1/16" japanese mortise chisel and it has an iron hoop on the end.I want to try these out and that size looks like it might be real handy to have around.I seem to remember seeing a tutorial on how to set these but I don't remember where. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this?thanks---Jack
>here it is. Just be careful - a 1/16" chisel is really fragileand can easily snap. Instead of resting the chisel on a wood block I would just hold it in my hand. - less effificant but safer.
>Joel is dead on. I have seen several of those returned, and I have never worked at a tool store! People pry on them and they usually break where the weld blends into the shank.
