>I love Frank's dovetail video. It has helped me a great deal. What is the consensus on his M/T video. Does it focus on hand work or just show the use of a tenon jig, band saw to cut tenons, etc?
Thanks,

>bob, he spends the first 10 minutes showing how to cut traditional mortise and tenons with a bowsaw and a mortise chisel and the rest of the video with routers, band saws and table saws. i keep rewinding the videotape just for the hand tools section.

>The one I like as a complement to Frank's dovetail video is Tage Frid's video. I is one of those short presentations in the FW series. Tage is pretty old in the show, and moves slowly, but he gets a lot done. It is half blind DTs, which makes a change.

>frank shic is correct about the video. There is also a Jim Kingshott video on M/T (as well as dovetails). He cuts them by hand and the video is well done. I'm pretty sure the video is still available from Highland Hardware in Atlanta.
