Upgrade Bench Chisels?

>I want to buy some top-grade bench chisels and am torn between the Barr's Becksvoort-style chisels and the Blue Steel Japanese chisels by either Miyanaga or Matsumura. I know all are excellent chisels known for holding a fine edge, but would like some opinions from those who have some expertise. These chisels would be used for dovetail and other general work.
