I have finally located a super warm burgundy crew neck sweatshirt for WoodCentral and a sample is on the way. I am interested to know how many of you might be interested in purchasing one. They are available in sizes M - XL for $24 plus shipping and in XXL for $26.50 plus shipping. XXXL will be available on special order for $32 plus shipping.

These are 12-oz. fabric, folks -- that's three ounces heavier than the one pictured on the old gray clothes horse here. We could conceivably offer the 9-oz shirts too, but I can't afford to inventory a large variety.

Also, I have ordered a sample of a heavyweight charcoal, full-zip polartec-type fleece jacket with zip pockets and a waistband drawstring with barrel clips. These will be available in S- XL for $36 plus shipping, in XXL for $39.50 plus shipping, and in XXXL for $42 plus shipping. Not cheap, but this is 14-oz. (!) fleece. We're talking warm AND stylish.

Anyhow, what think? Would you order one or the other of these fine items? Please let me know by posting a response to this thread, so that Charlotte can harvest your replies. The samples will be here tomorrow, and, if they are as nice as I imagine they will be, I would like to place our order right away so that you can have your shirts by Christmas. Might as well dress the part as you're sitting around opening your Anderson planes and whatnot on Christmas morning (or whatever holiday suits you). :-)

Thanks and warm regards,

Ellis

What about the ...

>possibility of getting a "hoodie" aka a sweatshirt with a hood? I know this is not a direct response to your post. However, when you mentioned sweat-shirts earlier, the thought occured to me that it would be nice to have one of those available too. Another thought would be to have the old standby, the stretch cap, as an option.

just some ideas!

>Hi Ellis,

I'd take a jacket, L.

Are there still t-shirts available? If you don't go for the jacket I'd pick up at least a t-shirt.

>I would take a XXK sweatshirt. My current WW conditions are rather exposed and a nice warm SS would be just the ticket. $26.50 for a good quality SS of that weight is a VERY fair price.

I'll take a 3X. They look great and the price is very reasonable.
