>Thom, I tried to send an email to you with a query on some wording in a post of yours, but it bounced, twice.

Here is the crux of the message:

I am working on a WoodCentral article concerning resawing veneers which was developed from a thread there. In the thread, you made a statement in part:

"You can also use a downdraft table, just a hollow box with some holes in it to hold the veneer for planing. The box needs to be stiff. The smallest shopvac will hold down the biggest workpiece you can imagine. You must have @ 4 x 1/4" holes in the hose or body of the box that provide cooling air to the SHop vac. Or just expose some of the hole in the top, as many as you can until the veneer lifts."

I can't for the life of me figure out what you meant by the @. Is it a typo? Is there another word or symbol left out? Is it an Oz expression?

I've tried to infer "at least" or "approximately" or "two" but none quite work, so I'm hoping you can help me.

You can either answer here or direct to my email addy above.

Thanks,

Rod
