>I sharpened the blades and cut a quick rebate in a chunk of hard maple. The straight 1/2" bit cleaned up the rebate just fine. I then put the pointed blade in and cut the rebate about 1/32" deeper, just to see if it worked OK. It did - photo attached. The surface was nice and clean until I tried the angled blade. I messed up the surface sightly in my haste; it looked very good as cut.
Second picture - next post is a groove cut in the same chunk of maple with the "V" blade and router fence. Other than the entry tear out caused by trying to start with too deep a cut; the groove edges are sharp and clean.
Initial impression: very good product!
