The standard backyard color here in Montreal is grey. Since I painted it all the elderly Italian and Portugese widows in my neighborhood want to marry me. Way I figure it, Minnesotans get good at puns because what else is there to do during winter (that is, between September 1 and the 4th of July) besides curling and arguing over the etymology of "uff da?"
