Did I use the right glue?

The tote is broken. Since it has the name (Stanley Defiance) visible on it I'd like to keep that tote if possible. The break is fairly clean, the two parts mesh pretty well together, but I can't get as tight a fit as if I was doing a regular glue-up.
So I decided to use poly (Gorilla) glue. My rationale was since it has a bit of gap-filling ability (compared to yellow glue) it would fill the voids and result in a stronger joint.
Should I have used epoxy instead?
Thnx,
