My tools were sharp when I got there, not not perfectly flattened on the back. My chisels were in the worst shape and took a huge portion of Monday to mostly straighten out.
All we worked with for the week were:
hand planes, sharpening and dimensionaning 6s6 from rough pieces of stock.
chisels, for chopping waste from dovetails, and making a hand chopped mortise and tenon
saws, rough dimension changes, and cutting the dovetails.
Rob was an outstanding teacher, his demonstrations are concise and clear. He took the time to diagnose any issues brought up the class, and made sure you truly understood the underlying concepts.
