Adria dovetails saw. GULP!

>Well, after ascertaining that Rob Lee and his crew were not going to produce a dovetail or small tenon saw I decided to plop down the cash on the Adria dovetail saw. I must say - it is a very very nice piece of work to look at and fits the hand like a glove. I hastily marked out a series of test tails on some cherry and sawed away. Lovely thin kerf, dead straight cut..ahhhhhh.
Now, let me get my old Parker dovetail saw out with the slightly wobbly handle (yes, I have tried to fix it). This saw has my first ever attempt at sharpening on it - not so good.
Zip, zip, zip.....errrrr, it's *just* as good as the Adria. Gulp!
Same kerf width, same straight cut, just seems to start a little easier and cut a little faster.....gulp.
I'm keeping the Adria (even tho' they have a generous return policy) because it's beautifully made and a fine saw BUT bear (bare?) in mind that an old saw - even a non perfect one can produce equally good results.
That's life!
