water stone ???
Bruce, a MN Galoot
>I picked up a 6000 grit waterstone a couple months ago. Problem is, it glazes over so quickly that I have a hard time using it without resurfacing each time. I don't know the brand because it is at home and I am not. I know it's not a Norton, Shapton or King. It didn't cost all that much, maybe $20 - $25.
Is this a problem with the stone or the operator? I don't have a Nagura stone and wonder if that would be a solution to this problem.
