LN #7 or #8 Jointer?
Glenn
>I wanted some opinions on the advantages/disadvantages between a LN #7 and #8 jointer before I make a purchase. The pictures on the LN web site make the #8 look huge compared to the #7 but the description of the #8 says it is about two inches longer than the #7 and about 1-3/4 lbs heavier. I can't see the weight difference making a huge difference in use, as in wearing me out due to the extra weight, because I have never used my #7 Stanly for a very long period of time.
Thanks,
Glenn
