A ? for the Bedrock folks

>Can someone check their Bedrock fleet of users for me, and confirm that a 604 and 605 (both flat-side, i.e. post-Type 5) frog are identical?

I know the lever caps are, and castings are same width, so it makes sense that the frogs would be the same ... but 'sense' is always an uncertain guide to the World of Stanley R&L ...

Thanks in advance,

Clay

>You may also want to make sure that the new frog and the frogless plane are from the same line of bedrocks. The earliest models had frogs that screwed directly to the plane body, much like a regular frog on a bailey. Subsequent frogs used the pin and set-pin setup, like lie-nielsen has.

>Yep - that's why I specified flat-sides. The frog changed for all Type 5 and later, which also had the flat sides ... .

Nobody?

>Yes, they are identical and interchangeable.

As are 604-1/2, 606 and 607 (to each other not to the 604 and 605)
