Picture trick for you (kinda long)

>I noticed that Tony posted his fern stand both here and on another board, and had a problem with the picture size when he tried to post it on this board. (No problem with the cross post Tony, just using this as an example ;-)) One thing that you can do that makes it a bit easier and also takes up less storage on the WC server is to use the same picture for both posts. As a for instance, suppose that you post on the hand tool board a picture of a project and would also like to post it on the main board. When you use the optional graphic upload feature, what the WC server does is upload the picture to a directory on the WC server with a name that is mapped to the post. If you right click on the picture in the post you just did, and click properties, the name will be there. Copy that name (the whole url), and then when you post on the other board, you can use the name in the image url field so that both posts use the same picture. (make sure you delete the http that is already in the box before pasting)
This saves storage on the server and alows reuse. This can also apply if you like to post a picture of yourself or something as a tag in your posts. If you do it as a graphic upload, there will be a copy on the server for every post you do. If, after you upload it the first time, you note the url in the properties, you can then reuse that picture in all of your posts without uploading a new one every time. The picture will stay on the server so it is always available.
