Yes, yes,yes and new LN Gloat

>Hi All, I first want to thank everybody for your suggestions on which plane I sould buy last week. I just got a LN low angle block plane(60-1/2) and I can tell already how sweet it is. I just tested it out before even honing the blade and it was SO NICE! Here's a pic of my new toy. I don't do this too often because I really believe in using the tools you have as much as possible. Buy hey Fathers' day is coming isn't it? :)Thanks again all. Alan in Md.

>It's a beaut!

The first time I laid eyes on this plane was while I was surfing the L-N website just after it came out. I gazed at the image and said to no one in particular..."I want one!" JR

>Alan, I think you will like the adjustable mouth feature on the plane. I know you had asked questions about relative to the 601/2R. If you get to use a R you will see that it is nice to have the adjustable mouth.

Thanks for all your help

>in my selection. I made the right choice and now it's time to hone that baby. This is my first time doing A2 steel and I expect it to be harder to hone but at least the edge will last longer. Since the blade comes with a flat bevel all I have to do is put a micro bevel on it and use it again. Off to have more fun. Alan in Md.
