Birthday gloats

>So in addition to the plane handles I posted about the other day (and yes, I did get the Millers Falls handle to fit on almost perfect after a little hemming and hawing, and it's a big improvement), I had some friends over for a barbecue last night. Lisa gave me "The Complete Manual of Woodworking" by Jackson, Day and Jennings, which looks very interesting -- I am browsing around in it this rainy afternoon -- and John Aniano earned himself a permanent spot on my invitation list by giving me a lovely, almost like new except for a little pitting on one side of the blade, brass-back warranted cast steel tenon saw. Thanks John!

>Yeah -- the barbecue part of it kinda got rained out but I left the chicken on the grill in the storm and we ate inside, it actually came out pretty good.
