Missing Your Popular Woodworking?

Christopher Schwarz

>If you are a subscriber and haven't received your copy of the June 2005 issue, please drop me a line at your earliest convenience and I will mail out a replacement first class immediately.

As to copies not showing up in the newsstands, we just learned today that a shipment of magazines bound for Tennessee went missing. Replacements will be on the way to those stores very soon.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We're working to fix it today.

>Christopher, I went looking for Popular Woodworking at our local Barnes & Noble here in Columbia, SC last night. It was not on the shelf, but Woodworking Magazine was, so I bought a copy. It's a good issue. That's the first time I've found Woodworking Magazine on the shelf here. If the "fix" for the wayward Popular Woodworking issue is in the mill, I'll wait for my subscription copy to arrive in the mail. I hate for you to spend 1st class postage to send mine.

Another place with great customer service

>I've had one problem with an issue of Pop WW arriving either obscenely late or beat to death when it arrived - can't recall - and Chris mailed me one his own self.

Any given issue of the magazine may not be quite as droolworthy as an LV medium shoulder plane, but (a) it's one of the best magazines around and (b) it is quite a bit cheaper than an LV medium shoulder plane.

I was a little put out when I got the 1st issue of my subsciption last week, & it was the last issue, which I bought a month ago, not the current issue. I went & purchased the new issue at Waldenbooks. I did feel a little screwed though......don

I still have not received my issue.

Sent an e-mail to you but the message was not delivered with a message saying that it was an unsolicited e-mail. You may want to check your spam settings or provide an alternate address.

I did send a message through popularwoodworking.com subscriber services.

Thanks.
