OT - Someone got a virus?

Alice Frampton, UK

>Possibly this should be on the main messageboard, but as I only post over here it seems logical whoever's infected must do so too.

Anyway, I got a failure to deliver message for a whole bunch of false email addresses all @woodcentral.com to my address above. I recognise the first part of some of them as genuine members' addresses. I think it may be the W32.Sober.O worm, but I'm not a techie type. S'not me; I have two up-to-date A/V programs going and have just run a thorough scan. So just a heads up to check your 'puters.

Cheers, Alf

I started getting "bugged" yesterday, Alf

>Evidently, it is someone who has contacted both of us or has a shared connection. I posted the worm alert on the main board yesterday, but if I understand this worm, the damage is done. Although it boosts my ego to get email other than that questioning my virility, I am tired of everybody I don't know not getting my emails:-) Eric
