IndyFest - Thanks to all

Ray Thompson - Middletown,IN

>Thanks to everyone who came out on a cool breezy Saturday for the most recent incarnation of IndyFest. Your willingness to help and participate make it a pleasure to put this together.

I hope everyone here will consider the following donors for your next purchases. The contest and door prizes were fantastic this year.

Chris Schwartz - Popular Woodworking

Randy - Vega Tools

Tom Lie-Nielsen

Rob Lee - Lee Valley

Steve Knight - Knight Toolworks

Randy Privett - Monster Tools

Dave Smith

Due to some last minute health issues the whole event was saved by Terry and Connie Quiram, you will never know how much we appreciated your help. Also thanks to those who came out on Friday for setup, you know who you are.

Al Crandall and Duane Leach brought Keith Tomkins up on Friday afternoon and I had the great opportunity to spend time learning more about those spinny things. I wish I could have attended at least the Sunday session with Keith but circumstances prevented it. It was a special pleasure meeting Keith, thanks Al and Duane.

See everyone next year

>We had about 30 or slightly more. Next year we will get our schedule together with the Indy wood turning club, instead of head to head.
