>It might be the fact that I have not really slept in the last week but I had to show this off even though it is not quite completed. I have been working on this set of tipsy cabinets and I finally was able to put the legs on it tonight. And I have to say I am loving the look.

Lots and lots of hand work is involved in anything I do, it is not purely hand tools but every joint has to be shot to fit, every surface planed to perfection. Every shoulder has to the trimmed to just right. Even though I am best buds with the bandsaw this beast as with most of my work is just my two hands and bunch of planes, chisels, and saws.

I hope you enjoy it too, you can see by the look on my face just how pleased I am.

What do you think?

>Ed, I think it looks pretty cool. If you have little kids, put it in the pretties room. :) Otherwise I have a feeling it will get a paper bug make over (should let the kids do that when you are about to put the finish on and take photos, they would love seeing them on the web!)

>Cool, very cool, Ed. One thing I'd suggest is that there be a surface parallel to the ground/floor, probably the top, maybe the bottom of the case, assuming you want to take the anthropomorphization to its logical conclusion.

>Ed,

Very cool. I love it! I would be at least as pleased as you if I had made it.

It's great to ignore the compulsion and to feel free enough to break all the rules. Yes?
