Smoothing plane review/overview in FWW

>My FWW arrived Saturday with a nice overview by Chris Gochnour on the popular smoothing planes available. This is not the review for the hardcore LA vs HA, back bevel et. al. debaters (we know who we are), but for those just getting into hand planes a nice introduction. There was even a box with the Veritas Low Angle that mentioned the high angle blade configuration. I take that as validation that high angle blades on bevel up low angle planes has finally gone mainstream. I still think there is a bias to those fancy pants bronze planes, but that might just be my frugal nature. Worth a glance. Eric (Who thinks FWW is ok, but is glad his mother in law gets it for him)
