Hickory handrail

>Here's a little project I just completed on a house we built last year for the owner of the Tabasco hot sauce company. Some electrons were burned in making this, but I read this side more than the other. The top rails hang on 1/2" lag bolts screwed into the Hickory posts. I used angle brakets screwed to the rails and tapcons to the rock columns. The pickets are morticed into the top and bottom rails. Thanks to Rockler's log tenoning kit...and Lee Valley's green wood bit. I will be buying a full set soon. Those things are the "cat's meow" for drilling green hardwood.
