>It will replace it though if someone wants the order style I can still make them. It takes care of some things that I wanted to change. Like I could not use the full blade width because the thickness of the wood determined that. Now with the thicker sole I can make any width and use the whole iron. So I can make a plane to match a iron without having someone make a different sized mouthblock. It makes tuning the plane easier too for me and my customers. It lets me make my planes shorter since I can change the angle now that the mouthblock is not there or in the way.
