My Handsaws *LINK*

>I just finished my second handsaw today. I made my first one, a dovetail saw, several months ago, because I did not want to pay Lie-Nielsen $115 for a saw I can make for less then $10. So I did, and they work beautifully. My first saw was a dovetail with maple handle and filed 14PPI Rip. The one I just finished Is the same size as the dovetail, but has Brazillian cherry handle, and is filed 13PPI crosscut. They handles are SOOO comfortable, they fit like a glove. The cuts are so very smooth, better then my power miter saw. The saw steel came from old disston saws. I plan to make two more bigger tenon saws.
Enjoy, let me know what you think.
